Is there any sin too hurtful to forgive?
If anyone has a right to hold onto her anger, it’s Morgan Goodman. She’s been let down by
so many people. After a rough childhood and her divorce, she met Ed. He was a perfect
gentleman for two years, teaching her to hope and love, but then he raped her.
Her father left her at a very young age and her mother never seemed to care about her.
Now, as she’s graduating from college, her father reappears in her life, but he’s been in an
accident. She struggles to understand why he left.
Morgan wants forgiveness from her first husband, but she doesn’t know how to forgive the
people in her life now. She says, “Our mistakes cost us. Often times we are unwilling to pay
full price. Unfortunately, karma offers us no discount, no coupons and no rebates. We
cannot take it back and ask for an even exchange. It is never worth it. I have found that out.
And now my eyes are wide opened.”
Even if Ed pays for his transgression against her, can she forgive him? Or is she willing to
pay the ultimate price for not forgiving?
